Coal Slag - 3lb bag

We often get asked "what do you top your carnivorous plant substrate with?" and we're here to shock you that it's coal slag. While you can use a variety of sands for carnivorous plants and their mixes, we've found that it's difficult to get the right amount of aeration with many sands sold at stores.

We offer this in a 3lb bag for those that want to add additional sand to their soils. This also makes a beautiful soil topper that still allows for air to flow underneath.
