Bring a touch of the exotic to your home with a Venus Flytrap! This captivating carnivorous plant potted in a convenient 3.5" planter is perfect for curious gardeners.
The King Henry variant was produced by Don Elkins and got its name for its large size, and was named after King Henry from the show The Tudors. This specific clone is an incredibly fast grower!
Easy to care for, Venus Flytraps thrive in bright direct sunlight and moist soil (you can leave them in a plant tray with around an inch of water). They don't need to be fed – they naturally attract and devour spiders, flies, and other small insects.
During the winter, the traps will die back and typically the rhizome will be all that remains. When the warmer weather and longer days start, the traps will begin again and you may even notice that you have additional traps sprouting after dormancy or flowering.
